**GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:** Primary responsibility is to make sure all transfers are running effectively and efficiently. Manager will report to the Warehouse Manager to inform them performance issues and any other issues coming from the transfer team. Oversee the employees in this area (Transfer Team) and ensure that they are using proper safety procedures in handling merchandise and transporting product to and from each location with the assigned area.

**EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:** Ensure the transfer teams is unloading delivery trucks, placing merchandise in proper staging area; must have current working knowledge of merchandise; over see the loading of trucks with merchandise to be transferred to other locations; operate box truck as driver as needed; train employees on the proper operation of box trucks; ensure that all merchandise received must be labeled and scanned properly with scan guns to ensure an accurate inventory count; assign daily assignments and responsibilities to team; Conduct team building and communication exercises as assigned by Organizational Development Team and management; enforce disciplinary actions, conducts reprimands, counseling sessions, and commendations; ensure that all employees are using proper lifting techniques; provide leadership to support the overall communications between all departments. Delegate responsibility appropriately; plan and organize efficiently and effectively, communicate goals and performance metrics to team members regularly; other duties as directed by management.

**EMPLOYMENT STANDARDS:** Ability to repetitively lift heavy merchandise of 50 lbs; ability to communicate effectively with team members; working knowledge of computer systems; advanced knowledge, and ability to train on scan gun procedures; positive attitude when working with customers; Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Drivers license with no more than 2 traffic violations or 1 chargeable accident within the past three years; knowledge of employment, merchandise handling, and safety procedures. Supervisory experience required.

**PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIREMENTS:** To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, an employee must be able to perform the following: Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, climbing, crawling, walking, pulling, lifting, talking, hearing/listening and repetitive motion.

Heavy Work: Lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 30 lbs constantly to move objects.

Work Environment: Occasionally works in hot and/or cold temperatures and occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
