Position requires working on weekends and taking call on rotation.

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for preventive maintenance and repair on hospital machinery and mechanical equipment utilizing hand and power tools, meter instruments, and testing equipment. Will perform general maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* High School Graduate or GED equivalent preferred.

* Ability as a Maintenance Technician.

* Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

* Having and maintaining a valid Oklahoma Driver's License and satisfactory driving record is a condition of employment.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing.

* Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, for reading maintenance requests and repairing equipment.

* Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.

* Must be able to talk and hear to communicate with hospital employees.

* Able to climb and work off ladders.

* Able to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
