Stock bathrooms with clean towels, toilet tissue and facial tissue. Replace shower curtains upon check-out. Vacuum and carpet cleaning. Vacuum the entire room including bathroom and closet. Carpets are shampooed when time permits. All areas must be picked up and no clutter or dirt on the floor or carpet. Dust all furniture, inside of drawers and of furniture, lamp shades and anything else that requires dusting. Keep room free of dust, remove finger prints and smudges. Polish all furniture, clean mirrors and dust shades. Carts should be stocked with all supplies and ready to start at scheduled time. Clean lobby and other areas in Hotel at request of Supervisor or Manager. Make beds, change sheets daily, change blankets and bed spreads when needed. Corners must be tight and bed must be free of wrinkles.30 hours per week as determined by manager of hotel operations. Normal hours are from 8 am to 5 pm. Days of the week depend on hotel operations.Employees with have some exposure to chemicals, household dust, and sweepers or carpet cleaner noise.Must be able to bend, stoop, operate vacuum cleaner, mop, and move hotel furniture from place to place. Must be able to reach to hang and clean shower curtains and windows. Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.Special Instructions to ApplicantsPlease attach a resume.Education & ExperiencePosition Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: High School/GED Zero to six months of related experience. Ability to read MSDS sheets. Should be familiar with and have knowledge of good housekeeping procedures. Good public relations skills. Must be personable, trustworthy, dependable, and available.
