Details:

* Full-time

* 8:00am-4:30pm

* Every other weekend

* Holidays on rotation

JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility is to provide a clean, sanitary, and pleasant hospital environment. Requires working in all areas of the facility or wherever assigned. Other responsibilities include daily documentation of work assignments and area completed, documenting patient care/non-patient care hours worked, and assisting in working with new employees and sharing knowledge.

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Prefer high school graduate or GED equivalent.

* Previous housekeeping experience helpful.

* Must be able to follow oral or written instructions.

* Knowledge and ability to use cleaning equipment.

* Must have a helpful, caring attitude.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

* Able to work in a latex-burdened environment.

* Must be capable of lifting to 50 lbs., reach, pull, stoop, and bend.

* Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, in order to record information and read labels accurately to prepare cleaning solutions.

* Able to verbally communicate effectively. Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
