This position performs food service functions, including but not limited to preparing and serving food according to Company standards and guidelines. Food Production Associates are responsible for maintaining County/State/Federal health codes, customer satisfaction and accurate work results that are noticeable by the customer (i.e., food quality, wholesomeness, presentation, merchandising, portion control and maintenance of departmental food standards).Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Duties may also change to meet the ongoing needs of the business.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:Prepare foods from scratch using appropriate recipesUtilize ingredients and supplies effectively for the least waste possibleWash and sanitize utensils, preparation equipment and machines required for donut productionAdhere to the work schedule as posted, unless a change in schedule is arranged with the General ManagerFlexibility to cover shifts, as neededOperate all equipment and devices in a safe manner and according to guidelinesAct with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture and values of the companyMaintain food quality and safety standardsEnsure compliance with all health and safety codes.Keep work and service area in a safe, sanitary and orderly mannerMaintain a positive working relationship with other team members and members of management.Performs other duties as assignedQualificationsQUALIFICATIONS:Capability to follow precise directionsHigh level of integrity and professionalismAbility to maintain confidentialityDetail oriented with the ability to multi-task effectivelyKnowledge of food safety practicesESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSContinuous standing and repetitive arm/hand movement for entirety of shiftFrequent walking requiredAbility to reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend or work overhead when neededLifting requirements include lifting of up to 50 poundsAbility to communicate effectively through verbal and written practicesAbility to read, write, speak and understand the English languageSufficient visual acuity
