If so, BLUSOURCE is the career for you! As a Procurement Associate, your goal is to make sure our Partners get the products they need when they need them.

What will you gain from us? You will get hands-on experience with our procurement process, the opportunity to work on a small Procurement team, and experience in varying markets as we purchase domestically and internationally.

On a typical day you will be accountable for:

Handling the end-to-end procurement process, from creating purchase orders to maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely delivery of goods. You'll coordinate with suppliers, monitor performance, and assist in sourcing new suppliers while collaborating with cross-functional teams. This role involves contract management, data analysis for cost-saving opportunities, and staying updated on industry trends to optimize purchasing decisions. You'll also ensure compliance with company policies, participate in quality assurance, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Physical Requirements:

  • You may occasionally lift and carry up to 30-50 pounds

Education, Experience & Proficiencies:

  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Management preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with purchasing software or ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities appropriately.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, environment.
