Epic Orders Analyst - Remote, Raleigh, NC

Duration: 12 months

Seeking an experienced professional to provide application support, build, testing, and optimization of Epic Orders workflows. This role focuses on ensuring efficient and compliant patient care across 13 healthcare facilities. The analyst will collaborate with clinical providers, nursing staff, pharmacists, and ancillary departments to enhance orders functionality within Epic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide application build and configuration for Epic Orders workflows including CPOE, order sets, protocols, and decision support.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and ancillary staff to gather requirements and translate them into system functionality.
• Participate in system testing, integrated validation, and change management processes.
• Troubleshoot issues escalated via ServiceNow, providing timely resolution or escalation as appropriate.
• Support compliance with state, federal, and regulatory standards for orders management.
• Work collaboratively with other Epic module analysts to ensure workflow integration and system interoperability.
• Participate in on-call rotation for orders-related support issues.

Must Have:

• Epic Orders certification
• 7 years of Epic implementation or operations support experience
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation practices in healthcare settings
• Ability to analyze workflow needs and translate them into Epic configuration
• Previous experience as an Epic Orders Analyst or Builder in a healthcare environment
