Data Analyst
Location: Des Moines, IA (Hybrid)

What You'll Be Doing

• Partner with business teams to gather requirements and translate data needs into actionable analysis
• Build, enhance, and maintain reports and dashboards to support decision-making across the organization
• Query and analyze data from multiple sources using SQL to deliver both routine and ad hoc insights
• Ensure data accuracy through validation, cleansing, and quality checks
• Document data definitions, processes, and reporting logic to improve consistency and efficiency
• Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, improve reporting, and introduce automation
• Provide clear, business-friendly explanations of data findings and recommendations
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in data governance, reporting standards, and analytics capabilities

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or a related field
• Strong SQL skills with the ability to extract and manipulate data efficiently
• Experience working with data visualization tools such as Power BI or similar platforms
• Solid understanding of data structures, data quality, and reporting best practices
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights for non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with data validation, cleansing, and quality control processes
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook

Nice to Have

• Exposure to data governance principles and data stewardship practices
• Familiarity with predictive analytics or machine learning concepts
