Position Summary
Premier Safety Resources is seeking a Night Shift Safety Professional to support hyperscale and data center construction operations in Stillwater, OK. This is a full-time, on-site night shift role for a safety professional who can operate independently, lead from the field, and maintain strong safety presence during critical after-hours operations.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in commercial construction, mission-critical, industrial, or data center environments and is confident managing high-risk work activities, supporting subcontractors, engaging supervision, and maintaining client-facing professionalism. This individual must be proactive, highly visible in the field, strong in documentation, and capable of driving compliance without disrupting production.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site night shift safety coverage for hyperscale/data center construction activities
- Monitor field operations to ensure compliance with project safety requirements, client standards, and regulatory expectations
- Lead daily safety presence in the field through audits, observations, coaching, and corrective action follow-up
- Review and support pre-task plans, Job Hazard Analyses, permits, lift plans, and high-risk work activities
- Identify hazards, unsafe behaviors, and changing site conditions, then act quickly to reduce risk
- Support and enforce requirements related to fall protection, LOTO, energized work boundaries, hot work, excavation, rigging, crane activity, mobile equipment, confined space, and contractor coordination
- Conduct incident reporting, preliminary investigations, root cause support, and corrective action tracking
- Deliver toolbox talks, orientations, and focused field coaching as needed
- Maintain accurate safety documentation, inspection records, observations, and shift reports
- Interface professionally with project management, superintendents, subcontractors, and client representatives
- Help maintain a strong safety culture aligned with schedule demands, quality expectations, and operational discipline
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of progressive construction safety experience
- Strong background in commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or data center construction
- Proven ability to work night shift on-site with minimal supervision
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and field hazard recognition
- Experience with incident documentation, site inspections, safety audits, and field-level coaching
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage craft workers, supervisors, and client teams effectively
- High level of professionalism, sound judgment, and confidence in fast-paced construction environments
- Ability to walk active jobsites, climb ladders/stairs, access elevated or restricted work areas, and remain active in the field for extended periods
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, digital reporting tools, and standard safety documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting hyperscale, mission-critical, or live/active data center construction
- 7–10+ years of construction safety experience
- Certifications such as CHST, CSP, CSHO, OSHA 500, OSHA 510, or equivalent
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED
- Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills
- Experience supporting electrical, mechanical, commissioning, structural, or interior buildout scopes common to data center projects
- Strong background in subcontractor oversight, permit management, and high-risk work planning
