Store Manager/Assistant Manager-Stillwater, OKGoodwill of Central Oklahoma is seeking individuals who are eager to support our mission of providing training, employment, and supportive services to people with disabilities or disadvantages. Our community donations and contracts support over 700 employees across the region.JOB SUMMARY : This position is responsible for the success of a retail store by ensuring excellent customer and contributor service, developing sales, controlling expenses, and supervising store personnel.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSOversee production and rotation of merchandise.Ensure quality of merchandise and proper pricing.Ensure cleanliness of sales floor and entire store.Provide excellent customer service and train employees in customer and contributor service skills.Oversee training and development of store employees.Accountable for daily reports, payroll and daily sales reports.Abide by the policies and procedures set forth by management.Review and be familiar with Goodwill safety policies, programs and procedures. Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and safety codes, and attend safety training sessions and necessary safety meetings.ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIESPerform other duties and projects as required by management.Attend trainings as required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSMust be able to stand, twist, bend, kneel and reach for long periods of time (up to 8 hours a day).Good finger dexterity and sensation; frequent repetitive motions; talking, hearing, and visual acuity.Frequent lifting (up to 50 lbs).WORKING CONDITIONSRetail store environment.Work schedule may include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime, when approved by VP of Operations.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATIONHigh school degree or equivalent preferred.2 years in a retail setting preferred.1 year of management experience.Maintains current certifications in First Aid and CPR.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIESGood verbal and written communication skills.Good math skills and basic accounting.Good interpersonal skills: able to work well with a wide range of people.Good coaching skills.Strong organizational and time management skills.Demonstrate dependability through good attendance and adherence to timelines and schedules.Good follow-through on projects and deliverables.Good problem-solving skills.Multi-tasking skills and abilities.Demonstrate resourcefulness and ability to take initiative in development and completion of projects.Strong sense of customer and contributor service.Equal Opportunity Employer#J-18808-Ljbffr
