Coordinate the Sponsored Students and Scholars Program. Maintain working relationships and communications with sponsoring agencies, embassies, companies, and individual sponsors. Provide detailed explanations to sponsored students on legal matters, financial issues, academic concerns, health and insurance problems, university policies, and other relevant matters. Play a critical role in doubling the number of sponsored students. Oversee semester invoicing of sponsored students to sponsoring agencies for tuition & fees and appropriate associated expenses. Perform all other related duties as assigned.ResponsibilitiesConsult on visa regulations, sponsor contract expectations, and academic affairs for sponsored students and scholars.Coordinate the Sponsored Students and Scholars Program and manage invoicing to sponsoring agencies.Maintain relationships with sponsoring agencies, embassies, companies, and individual sponsors.Provide detailed explanations on legal, financial, academic, health, insurance, and university policy matters to sponsored students.Assist in increasing the number of sponsored students.Handle any additional duties as required.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Education, International Studies, Social Sciences, Humanities, or a related field (conferred before start date).Three years of work‑related experience in intercultural communications, computer proficiency with Microsoft Office, digital delivery systems (e.g., Banner/Slate), student services, the American university system, budgeting, and grants/contracts.Certifications, registrations, or licenses: Designated School Official (DSO) and State Department Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO) after hire.Skills: strong organizational ability, leadership, culturally sensitive communication, attention to detail, reliability, and problem‑solving.Preferred QualificationsMaster's degree in International Studies, Social Sciences, Humanities, Business, Education, Counseling, or a related field.International work experience abroad, immigration officer experience, or English Language Institute / ESL office experience.Certifications: Responsible Officer, Primary Designated School Official.Proficiency in a foreign language and extensive knowledge of F‑1 and J‑1 immigration regulations.
