Warehouse WorkerThe Warehouse Worker performs various functions, including receiving and processing incoming stock and materials; picking and fulfilling orders from stock; packing and shipping orders; and managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The warehouse worker is a dedicated team player who ensures accurate and timely shipping and receiving of tires.This is a full-time position M-F and some Saturdays, 6:30 AM-4:00 PM, with some overtime needed. We are unable to work around college schedules.Key responsibilities include the following.The company may assign other duties.Responsible for the flow of product in and out of the tire warehouse as delegated by the Warehouse Supervisor or Distribution Center ManagerInventory control, accuracy of recording data, and understanding of basic computer skillsFollow and implement company rules and proceduresPick and verify ordersUnload/load containers and trailersSort and place tires on racks or shelves according to organizational standardsLabel pallets and shipmentsRespond to and serve customers while maintaining a high level of serviceEnsure the packaging slip and bill of lading are duly signed before the tires are shippedMaintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, and recording amounts of materials or items received or distributedMaintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping racks, pallet areas, and workstations neat; sweep, dust, and always organize the warehouse and work area for orderlinessAdhere to required safety standards by wearing the proper safety equipment and following appropriate safety protocolsAssist in quarterly physical inventory countsFollow the routing software for deliveriesRequirementsPhysically fit and able to lift up to 75 lbs repetitivelyClean MVR/Driver LicenseGood eyesight to work in a warehouse setting and in dim lighting in certain areasAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment; prioritize responsibilitiesProficient in basic computer skillsWork full-time hoursAble to drive for long periods of the dayCompensation & BenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceSupplemental InsurancePaid time off and holidays401(k) with company matching up to 4%
